At Erin’s Elderberries, our community events are founded on the principles of fun and friendship, made possible by our love of working with the many small businesses in Fauquier County.
Our mission is to ensure that no person, family or child should ever feel excluded from participating due to financial constraints. To bring this mission to life, we work closely with other small businesses, harnessing their support and love of their community to ensure our event offerings - from games and crafts to food, treats, and prizes - are accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Through the generosity of our local small business sponsors, we can offer a variety of experiences where every attendee and child has equal access to all the games, treats, and prizes. Because our approach is to prioritize relationships over transactions, we encourage businesses to choose an activity to sponsor, we set up and provide all the particulars, and then they come and run the activity while interacting with those in their community. We do not allow active selling of anything other than on site made meals, during our events. Our aim is to foster a welcoming and a non-commercial atmosphere where businesses can interact with community members meaningfully.
Through this approach, businesses are sharing fun and kindness while building valuable connections with families and all those in our community. When we seek sponsorships, we focus on participation and connection rather than just financial contributions.
We appreciate your support as we relentlessly pursue our goal of building lasting relationships that strengthen our community and our small business community, making Erin's Elderberries events a place where everyone, business or community member, feels included and valued!
